30A Florida Travel Guide

We went to 30A in Florida for our family getaway and it was the perfect place to relax and have some quality family time. Not to mention the beaches are beautiful! In this post, I will go through the things we loved in 30A and I’m sure you will too!

What's great about the 30A is that all of the beach towns are right next to each other, so you can stay in one beach town and don’t have to miss out on exploring the rest! We stayed in Santa Rosa but we  enjoyed venturing off to the neighboring beach towns for food and shopping!

Where we stayed in Santa Rosa: Airbnb

We found it to be the best bang for our buck! To get the full 30A experience we drove to different beach towns to explore and eat!

SEASIDE

They have a farmers market on Saturday’s with fresh produce, honey and little shops setup

PLACES TO EAT

1. Edwards in Rosemary Beach for a nice dinner but $$$

2. Pickles in Seaside (fried pickles are delish)

3. The Donut Hole

4. Gulley Oyster Bar in Santa Rosa

5. Bud & Alleys in Seaside for a gorgeous view

  • Taco Bar & Pizza are amazing too!

6. Sunrise Coffee for good coffee & quick breakfast sandwiches in Santa Rosa (we liked going here before the beach because it’s right across the street)

7. The Perfect Pig for breakfast in Santa Rosa

8. Dawson's Yogurt & Fudge Works in Seaside

9. Angelina’s in Seagrove Order the pepperoni calzone & thank me later 😉

COFFEE SHOPS

Beach Happy Cafe | 30a coffee shop in WaterColor

Amavida | Their coffee roasters are 10 outta 10

Pro tip: there’s a trick to this beach to make you feel like royalty. When you enter the beach and you are looking at the water, go right past the private beach umbrellas and you will have a beach all to yourself! There were 10% of the people there and it truly felt like a private beach. Which, come on, everyone would love to have their own private beach?

RAINY DAY

If you are looking for a good place to shop, check out the Destin Commons. It’s a beautiful outdoor mall with lots of good stores and even ola outdoor play area for kids!

THINGS TO DO/ATTRACTIONS

1.Ed Walline South Walton Beach (Right by our house and was nice and quiet)

2.Destin Commons Mall (an outdoor mall with lots of good stories)

3.Fudpuckers in Destin was cool- it has a cool alligator attraction where Amilia got to hold an alligator! There is a restaurant and arcade here too

4.Seaside has a farmers market on Saturday and it’s a great place to walk around with lots of shops and airstreams with lots of good food.

Go to Crepes de Soliel for Frose-SO GOOD!

5.Rosemary Beach is very romantic and gorgeous with small shops too. The beach here is private FYI! *You are in walking distance from Rosemary beach to Seacrest beach.

6. Also recommend taking family photos at sunset on the beach

We loved our vacation to this part of Florida so much, we’re already planning to go next spring. . The area is up and coming and there are so many houses you can rent and plenty of hotels to stay in. The only thing that we would change for our next trip is the timing. It would be better to go late April or early May for warmer weather and not have to deal with spring breakers!

Let me know in the comments if you’ve vacationed in the 30A or if you plan on vacationing here!
